An electric material handling cart slides under heavy equipment with just 145- 185 mm of clearance and moves it across the floor with wireless remote control. One operator handles loads up to 60 tons—no overhead crane, no forklift, no pushing.

The YG series motorized material handling carts offer six models from 10 to 60 tons capacity, featuring lithium battery power, 360° in-place rotation, and a low-profile design that fits under most machinery bases. For industrial facilities looking for a motorized material handling cart that replaces manual skates and reduces reliance on overhead cranes, the YG series provides a proven, field-tested solution.

Why Choose YG Electric Material Handling Cart?

1. Ultra-low profile for limited-clearance access

The low chassis height slides under equipment frames, machine bases and structural supports where conventional forklifts and wheeled load carriers cannot enter, eliminating the need to jack heavy equipment to forklift height. The low profile also gives the load a low center of gravity, improving stability during movement on sloped or uneven surfaces and reducing tip-over risk.

2. High load capacity across 10 to 60 ton range

The motorized material handling carts cover capacities from 10 through 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 tons, with configurations beyond 60 tons for specialized applications, allowing buyers to select the exact capacity for their typical load weight. The heavy-duty steel chassis, high-capacity wheels and distributed load design spread the load weight across the chassis and wheels, avoiding point loading that could damage floors or exceed wheel capacity.

3. Independent wheel drive for 360-degree maneuvering

Each drive wheel is powered and controlled independently, enabling zero-turn-radius rotation, lateral movement and precise positioning impossible with conventional steered-wheel carriers. The independent drive also improves traction on uneven or sloped surfaces by delivering power to each wheel separately, and reduces tire scrubbing during turns to extend tire life and prevent floor damage.

4. Wireless remote control with 50-meter range

The industrial wireless remote allows a single operator to control the cart from a safe viewing position up to 50 meters away, giving a better view of the load and surroundings than a fixed sit-on or stand-on position. Two remote configurations are available — the C7 remote with high/low speed and directional control, and the work remote with 0 to 10 speed micro-adjustment, emergency stop and cruise control — and the upgraded yellow version includes a screen display, USB charging port and shoulder strap.

5. Modular multi-unit synchronization for oversized loads

The motorized material handling carts support wireless synchronized operation of two, three or four units, allowing standard carts to combine for loads that are too long, wide, heavy or irregular for a single unit. The standard one-main-unit-plus-two-auxiliary-wheels configuration satisfies approximately 90 percent of applications, while two-main-plus-two-auxiliary, three-main and four-main configurations handle four-point stability, long loads and in-place lateral translation, respectively.

One Master Unit with Slave Units – Three Configurations for Three Job Types

One master unit with two slave units handles most industrial equipment moves. But for special loads, two other configurations are available.

One master + two slave units (three-point support). Three support points form a stable triangle. The electric mover stays stable even when the factory floor is slightly uneven. Steering is flexible. This configuration covers 90% of customer needs.

Two masters + two slave units (four-point support). When equipment has uneven weight distribution or an oversized footprint, four support points provide better stability. An extra power unit means more precise control.

Multiple master units synchronized. When one master unit lacks the capacity, multiple masters work together to increase capacity. Three YG-60 remote-controlled electric transporters working together can move 180-ton heavy equipment.

The master and slave units need no physical connection—they sync through the remote control. One system, three configurations, one investment.

What This Electric Material Handling Cart Can and Cannot Move

Not every heavy object can be moved with an electric material handling cart. Understanding the limitations is just as important as knowing the capacity.

What it can move:

  • Machinery with flat, solid bases — CNC machines, injection molding presses, machining centers
  • Transformers, generators, and electrical equipment with solid base plates
  • Dies, molds, and tooling for stamping and forming operations
  • Steel coils, large structural components, and heavy fabrication parts
  • Oversized equipment using multiple synchronized units for loads up to 180 tons

What it cannot move (or requires special setup):

  • Equipment with warped, uneven bases or protruding bolts, pipes, or conduits — the remote-controlled electric transporter needs a flat contact surface
  • Loads with extreme center-of-gravity offset (more than 30% weight on one side) — becomes unstable
  • Items requiring overhead lifting — the cart is for horizontal movement only
  • Loads with less than 145mm ground clearance — the electric mover cannot fit underneath without jacking
  • Rough outdoor terrain, gravel, or significant floor damage — the cart is designed for workshop floors
  • Loose or shifting loads without additional strapping or custom fixtures

The practical check: Flat base + enough clearance + balanced weight = move it. Warped base + low clearance + off-center weight = fix it first.
